Sir,
This morning I received a notice from you (form B.104) with the information that my Brother Eric was in the No 3 Stationary Hospital, Rouen, France.
I have had no previous notification, as stated in this notice, but hope that he is not seriously wounded.
I shall be very much obliged if you can let me have any information as to his condition, and if there is anything at all that I can do, perhaps you will be good enough to let me know.
I spent four months in France myself with the First Canadian Division, and am now back here on instruction.
Please note that my private address is now 79 Balmoral Place, Winnipeg.
I have the honour to be, Sir, Your obedient servant, R A Blaydon. [3]
